Canon EF 35mm f1.4L II USM Lens

It is hard to believe that advancements can still be made on such a tried and true prime lens, but with this 35mm f1.4L II USM lens, Canon has proven that it is possible. The high-quality L-series construction of this lens applies to both the build quality and the optics. Optically this lens contains 2 Aspherical and 1 UD elements, as well as a special Blue Spectrum Refractive Optics Element. This Blue Spectrum element virtually eliminates chromatic aberration and colour fringing, providing a high level of clarity and colour accuracy that would have previously seemed almost unattainable.

In performance, the Canon 35mm f1.4 L II lens has all of the features that you have come to demand of your L-series offerings. A fast f1.4 maximum aperture assures handheld shooting is possible from dawn to dusk. When shot wide open you can use fast shutter speeds, even when things get a little dimmer, which drastically reduces the appearance of camera shake. A USM focus motor is not only fast enough to keep up with the speediest of subjects, but it is also exceptionally quiet, which is perfect for those shooters who wish to remain stealth-like, either to maintain their discretion or to shoot videos, which demands quiet focus performance.

The build quality of this L-series lens is something that all users will come to appreciate. Not only are you guaranteed a long shooting relationship with the 35mm f1.4L II, but you can also take it on adventures in more trying conditions. Rain or shine, this lens is happy to keep on working and exploring, as long as you are up to the task!
