Canon RF 50mm f1.8 STM Lens

The Canon RF 50mm f1.8 STM lens is great for high-quality, no-fuss shooting with your Canon EOS R Mirrorless camera. Like the full-frame Mirrorless system with which it is compatible, this Canon lens is portable yet powerful, weighing in at just 160 grams. The 50mm focal length is described as normal, as it is very close to what the human eye sees, which means this lens can remain on your camera for much of your regular shooting, whether that entails day-to-day snapshots or travel photographs.

This Canon prime lens is great for creating shallow depths of field and beautiful bokeh, thanks to its fast f1.8 maximum aperture. This feature also assures the lens is very useable in low-light conditions, so you can keep it mounted to your camera even after sundown. A fast and quiet STM AF system is also included, which allows the lens to be used confidently for your still and video purposes. With the Canon RF 50mm f1.8 STM lens you can control even control key camera settings such as exposure compensation, ISO or Shutter speed, using the unique customisable control ring.
