Hoya 49mm UXII UV Filter

UV filters are essential for the proper cleaning and care of camera lenses. As well as filtering out UV light, which helps to provide haze-free higher contrast images, a UV filter can be mounted on the front of your lens to protect it from dust, dirt and scratches - we cover this in our lens filter buying guide. These new Hoya UX UV filters feature a water-repellent coating, which makes it easier to clean off smudges and fingerprints from the surface of the filter. This is in addition to the anti-reflective coating and slim profile of the filter.

UX stands for user experience. Hoya has produced this line of filters in order to meet the requirements of beginners who need high-quality results at a budget-friendly price. These filters are a must-have addition to your kit and they come from Hoya, a name that you can trust.
