OMSYSTEM 17mm F1.8 II Lens

A small-statured big performer

A hallmark of OM lenses since the days of old has been remarkable performance in compact packages and this 17mm f1.8 lens continues this tradition grandly. This 17mm prime lens may not cause a stir physically, but the wide 34mm equivalent focal length, available light performance and optical quality is sure to be a hit amongst all Olympus OM-D users. This feature set will help the 17mm f1.8 lens reside comfortably alongside other Zuiko lenses, prepped for landscapes, travel and other wide-angle uses.

The bright f1.8 maximum aperture of this lens will have you shooting bright and early in the morning, right through to dusk, enjoying sharp and detailed images all day long. When opened right up this lens can help you to selectively focus on a certain area of your picture, with the rest of the photograph reduced to a complete blur. Whether you are utilising your Olympus OM-D body for taking still or HD videos this lens is up to the task, thanks to the fast and smooth Movie and Stills Compatible (MSC) autofocus.
